On Saturday, February 10th from 10am - 2pm, A. Russell Knight PTA will be hosting our annual Winter Carnival, a tradition we have had for decades. This is our biggest FUNraiser of the year, where we can raise money for our school and give the kids an afternoon full of fun and memories!
Here's some of what you can expect this year:
- Dozens of carnival style games, including ARK-themed corn hole and PLINKO
- The PJ's food truck is back and ARK receives 100% of the proceeds, so come hungry!We will also have hot dogs, pizza, soft drinks and snacks available in the cafeteria.
- ARK dad Chris Banzali of IKON Sounds Entertainment will be back, donating his time and talents as our event emcee again this year
- The Craft Room is back - special thanks to our sponsor The Keri Ricci Team of Keller Williams
- The Extras:There will be a photo booth, face painter, cotton candy machine and so much more.
- The Prizes: Money boards will be back, plus over 100 silent auction items, class baskets and grand prize raffles including a Roomba, an Ipad (donated by ARK Dad Joe Johnson of Main Street Investment Group).We will have more prizes to announce soon.
- New this year: Stylists from Sweet & Sassy Cherry Hill will be at our event giving the kids updos.The cost is $5 per child and 100% of the proceeds go directly to ARK.A sign up will be available soon.
All proceeds from this event go directly to our Gift to School. In the past we have used these funds to purchase chromebooks, a gaga pit, made improvements to the outdoor play equipment, provided books for our reading center and much more. This year, we hope to add to the technology that ARK students have access to so there are enough computers for all students to access when needed.
